Haven't had a good Shepherd's Pie in a while. Going to have to make one. Thanks for the recipes.

Love shepherd's pie. My wife's version is more toned down from all those ingredients but we recently discovered that my son who has Autism loves it.

Thanks for bumping this ! My mother used to make one when I was a kid and I always liked it. Somehow haven't thought of making it but right now it sounds really good so I think I shall.

We had meatloaf last night. It was a delicious meal, meatloaf and mashed potatoes.

Like me I bet you had plenty of brown gravy with it.I love it the next to have a hot open meat loaf sandwich.

I had meatloaf last week with mashed potatoes and corn. I use a spaghetti sauce instead of the brown gravy and even include some tomato paste in the ground meat mixture to keep things nice and moist and flavorful.

I use a tomato sauce too. I think it makes it more tasty plus moist.

There are times when my wife will make a meat loaf just for the variety, but when she really wants to step up her game she will put two hard boiled eggs in the center of the meat loaf so when you slice it you have an egg in the middle.

How about a bacon wrapped meatloaf with a cheese center?
