Thought I saw an email where the CWT saved another plot of land at Brandy Station recently.

How was North Anna? Havent been but heard from some people, and not all on here, that it was a nice hike.

Awesome but brutal terrain to fight!

There is a Gray Trail (Confederate) and a Blue Trail (Federal). The Gray Trail is easy to moderate, while the Blue Trail is moderate to steep. We spent over 3 hours touring this site. We also toured the area of the Battle of Jericho Mill.

My pleasure, sir! My son and I had a blast with you. We will definitely tour again and maybe we can have @Eric Wittenberg give us a personal tour of the Trevilian Station and Brandy Station battlefields.

Great pics. The one from the MOC is about as well as it can be done. Reflections on the glass make picture taking there difficult. Petersburg sure looks different in May than it does in early January when I was there.

We walked the trails at Gaines' Mill, Cold Harbor and Malvern Hill. My son and I started out our tour today stoping by the Chickahominy River Bluff and finished at Drewry's Bluff (Fort Darling). We toured the Seven Days Battle sites and the Overland Campaign sites listed in the official NPS brochure with map. We also toured the Berkeley Plantation and Deep Bottom Landing.

Bill... How did you like Malvern Hill? I know that you were really looking forward to it.

It was very impressive early this morning when I got got there! Us midwest boys can't really imagine the terrain around there without experiencing it.
