Ladies and Gentlemen,
On behalf of Co. A, US Engineers, I would like to cordially invite you to participate, attend or visit our 2019 Annual School of the Engineer and Pioneer held in Waterloo, NY. This year's event is on May 25th and 26th, 2019 in conjunction with the Town of Waterloo's Memorial Day Living History celebration. At the school we train and teach reenactor participants in the skills and duties of the Civil War Engineer and Pioneer soldier by using hands on participation and activities. Trainees who complete the course are awarded their Engineer Artificer rank or their Infantry Pioneer axes. For more information along with photos and video of prior school activities please visit: https://www.facebook.com/Annual-Civil-War-School-of-the-EngineerPioneer-507864462730656/

Sounds like an interesting event, thanks for posting. Are you the outfit of engineers I see at Mumford in July?

I go up every year for Gettysburg and Mumford, Mumford is a great event. I fall in with the 12th Georgia, we've had each other in our sites. See you there again this year.
The field works from a few years ago were the result of one of our School of the Engineers. We built them 30 cheveaux and a gun platform along with the works and gabions. I have pics somewhere of that event. I'll look for you there this year.
