Hey everyone!
My gggg-aunt married Samuel Cobb, Major in the 13th Wisconsin. She died and he remarried to another person shortly before his death.
I'm trying to figure out if this makes it so I can't count him as my uncle.
Thanks!

Why would he not count? He's a relative by marriage. His later marriage, subsequent to your aunt's passing, is irrelevant.
