About a year ago on this forum I found a very interesting prayer from Robert E. Lee's bible that goes something like this: "Help me to be. to think, to act what is right because it is right; make me truthful, honest, and honorable in all things; make me intellectually honest for the sake of right and honor and without thought of reward to me." After my mother's passing I found this prayer in her bible: "Oh God, give me the guidance to know when to hold on, and when to let go; and then the grace to make the right decision at the right time and in the right way with dignity." I recite both prayers each morning upon my rising and before work each day. David.

I assume his office in the lower part of the Lee Chapel in Lexington, Va. It remains just as he left it.
