Riverboats in Arizona during the war?

I'm aware that ca. 1850s-60s the US military used the Colorado river to move troops and supplies between garrisons/settlements in Arizona. Can anyone tell me how much of an armed riverine force existed in Arizona during the Civil War, and whether any of the vessels had issues with local Confederates, Apaches, etc?

The closest example I can find is the "La Paz incident" of May 20 1863, where a party of Union soldiers disembarked in the mining settlement of La Paz from the steamer Cocopah to pick up supplies and were ambushed by a Confederate sympathiser, resulting in the deaths of two Union soldiers. This didn't directly involve the vessel itself though afaik.
