I have started this thread as a place for assembling resources for the study of Ladies' Memorial Associations in the South. These voluntary groups were founded at the end of the Civil War by white women in many communites throughout the South to insure the proper burial and memorialization of the Confederate dead.
Since this is a resource thread, please post links, videos, books, photos, etc. Documents and archives are welcome additions.
