I'm guessing this isn't Mrs. REL. I found nothing else about this Mrs. Lee in the book.

I just bought a house in Knoxville, MD (in Pleasant Valley) and I believe the photo depicts my neighbor's house.
My neighbor's house is the Boteler-Holder Farm, now called Magnolia Plantation. It is on Valley Road very near the Israel Creek Bridge.

Ran into this photo recently, thought I'd see if it was here. Of course it is!

The name ' Lee ' was pretty common, you can tell by trying to do searches in era newspapers! Must be another like ' Miller ' and ' Smith ' that's a genealogy nightmare.

I tell you these old photos are simply great. I could study them for a long time. They almost transport me back to that time. Thanks.
As a side note.....look at all that foliage. That wouldn't happen today for everyone would say our house was untended and overgrown. Thoughts on that?
