Remembering the Fredericksburg Dead of the Irish Brigade in Queens, N.Y. Dec. 15. 2018 Photo Tour

The bronze allegorical figure represents Peace. I think I misstated who she was in an earlier post.

Post-ceremony, I joined the 69th Color Guard in a hunt for Irish Brigade grave sites. Then we headed over to Bantry Bay, a local Irish bar for drinks with the commander of the modern 88th.

I have researched the Irish Brigade for 34 years. Please contact me at [email protected] for attachments. I have casualty lists, burial lists, and other things. Burial lists for Calvary, and other cemeteries. Great photos, I would have loved to have been there, but I live in Northern Virginia, and don't travel. I just joined CivilWarTalk, and am trying to find Irish Brigade things.
