It's amazing isn't it. A bit over 30 years ago this show was one of the most popular on television. That was of course prior to the time folks heard of American slavery.

I wonder if the women of this county realize that the Confederacy also put women in a second class position for life would appreciate the flag so much . It's amazing how many people will wave a flag and not understand what it stood for when we speak about failing school systems perfect example.

People on this site cannot agree on the symbolism of the flag. So if thinking for oneself is a goal of schools, seems like they are getting it right.

on this we differ if a student feels flying the Confederate flag makes them individuals or cool their teachers have failed.

So then why are you throwing the gauntlet of morality as you see it all on teachers? What you're discussing isn't history, it's morality as you see it. Personally speaking the morality part of whether or not a kid flies a certain flag should come from home.
