Not a Book or Movie review, but sort of a review of a company that sells library supplies.

I don't just read at home. I put a book in my bag and read on the bus on the way to and from work, etc. I hate it when the dust jackets get banged up and/or torn.

I found a place where you can get resonably priced Book jacket covers, which are simple to use.

It is called "Demco" at www.demco.com (I have no professional or financial interest in this company).

You can get 50 Polyster covers for about $15 and it takes about 5 minutes to put one on.

Their website is user friendly and features instructions on how to use their products, and they ship almost immediately after (one day) my order.

I get something called "Paperfold" covers. Their are various sizes available. Since most books are about 9-10 inches tall, I get the 10" size.

Good idea Samgrant. Most of my Civil War books' dustjackets have a plastic protective cover too. It protects the appearance and the value of the book - especially when you have autographed books that should be conserved.
