I was antiquing today with my sister who is visiting from Virginia. We were in an antique store and this is the owner's private collection and he let me take pictures. None of this was for sale. @major bill you need to come antiquing with me and my sister!

Sorry for the glare of their spotlights! This is one of two original bugles he has in the case.

This ribbon is a GAR reunion ribbon for the 5th Regiment NH Volunteers, Weirs Reunion which Harriet Patience Dame was celebrated at. She was a famous Union nurse from Concord, NH. The house that was built for the Vet's reunion is still in existence and well-kept.

Here are those famous greenbacks that would be scattered over battlefields after a battle.

And there was much, much more of pins and things that you could spend hours just looking at.

Ohhh speaking of NH, one of my many fool decisions came from NH.
A highway was being expanded going to the beaches and an old guy in his old shop was going to lose his shop.to progress.
I stopped in seeking treasures and bought an NCO belt and buckle.
I headed.to car and the man came out and said he had an ID'd canteen for 8 bucks.
Well I 2 canteens at home and who needs a 3rd!
Dope!
