This is another old Kentucky recipe. It is called Pioneer Cookies but is old fashion oatmeal raisin cookies. A real treat any time.

    Pioneer Cookies

One cup butter, one cup packed brown sugar, one-fourth cup milk, one teaspoon vanilla extract, two cups flour, one-half teaspoon baking soda, one cup rolled oats, and one cup raisins. Cream together butter, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla extract and mix well. Stir in flour and baking soda and blend well. Mix in one cup oatmeal and stir. Add in raisins and mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets and bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

Mmmmm sounds yummy. :hungry: I'll have to try that recipe, thanks!

    Just a question: one-half teaspoon - is that 1/2 tsp. or 1 1/2 tsp.?
