Fantastic images! Thanks so much.

The Fife & Drum Corps image seems to be captioned as follows:
"Fife & Drum Corps in front Trophy"
"Officers in Undress in rear"
"also men about Hd Qrs"

What do you think the "Trophy" is about? Is one of the flags displayed in the image a captured flag? Or maybe one of the drums? Thanks again for sharing these great images.

There doesn't seem to be anything except those drums and flag? One large drum, a soldier on either side seems prominent although it's not centered for the photo like you'd think if it's a trophy.

The crossed flags are the regimental and national colors, the other flag is a smaller national; the drums all appear to have owners with "beaters" and sticks. The only thing that appears out of place is the musket, might it be a Richmond or Southern Enfield and they are displaying for fun? There are no other muskets in evidence, the war is over and they are in camp...…..the musket also appears to be centered between the two crossed colors and the photographer is taking the picture at an angle.

I stand corrected, I think the musket is part of a triangle holding up the flags, you can barely see it in the officer's picture as well.
