Peachtree (Whitehall) Street ,Atlanta, Georgia

During the war there was a hatter on Whitehall named J. M. Holbrook, but I don't know the address or if this was his shop. Whitehall was only a few blocks long, though. I think this is looking away from the depot, toward the SW, and the cross-street in the foreground is either Alabama or Hunter.

There's a sign over the entrance to a shop just there, but this is all I can get out of it:
 
I see that now. I saw something like this at Alexander Stephens house that he used to spread a kerosene gas for lighting his yard. He had a gas light system. I knew Atlanta Gas Light had a system too but I am sure that was a lot later.
