Some forgotten local heroes of the Civil War will soon get their due during a ceremony in Oswego.

On May 7, the Philip H. Sheridan Camp of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War will dedicate new headstones for 22 veterans of the war currently in unmarked graves at Oswego Township Cemetery.
