Hello All,

This is my first post on Civil War Talk.

Has anybody been to the Occupation of Sandersville reenactment in Georgia? My unit is going and I’ve been trying to find information on exactly what we will be doing.

They mention – “Camp on Arms” – on Friday, but don’t go into detail. Does anyone know what “Camp on Arms” entails? I tried searching for any references to “Camp on Arms” online, but there was nothing.

I would also like to hear your opinion of the event.

Thanks

no idea. My first guess was basically sleeping under the sky and with your arms so you are ready for combat on a moments notice.

But looking at their website that is clearly not the case... it is a mainstream event with modern sleeping gear and coolers...
