I am trying to identify this gentleman so I can hopefully post this on Find A Grave website. On the back it is written Capt. Mr. G. ?. Frederick's. Backmark of photo is from Lebanon PA. I HAVE FOUND SOME George Frederick's but nothing saying nothing about being a captain. Thank you Greg

Thank you for the MOLLUS info. Just having a problem finding his record. I think his name may be George Watson Fredericks .

Lieutenant Colonel George W. Fredericks, 209th Pennsylvania Volunteers, USA. (raised 1864...served at siege of Petersburg, etc.). Photographed below at the execution of the Lincoln assassination conspirators, etc.

Thank you all very much !!!! I will try to post his likeness on find a grave . I will have some fun learning about his history of this man .

Thank you ! On Monday I have my knee replacement and I will finally have time to do some research. Mr. Frederick's has an interesting history to explore . Hopefully I can help you out sometime . Thx again, Greg

I also see the reference to him being "George WASHINGTON FREDERICK." It would appear that is correct, and he is no relation to the older gentleman from the previously noted findagrave reference...

I suspect this is his grave...

Findagrave: REV. George Washington Frederick
Thanks again , This makes more sense even though George (Watson) Fredericks looked so similar George Washington Fredericks . Its funny how you have a name and think this should be easy and it becomes a challenge . Again I appreciate your help, Greg
