Has anyone visited the National Guard Militia Museum of New Jersey? Near the end of April I attend a military history convention in Princeton NJ and if I want to stay an extra day I have the option of visiting the National Guard Militia Museum of New Jersey or the Museum of American Revolution, but have to pick one. I have never visited either place and could well stay an extra day. So which one to see? I understand the National Guard Militia Museum of New Jersey has two rooms of Civil War items, but can not find on line what they are. The Museum of American Revolution is an award winning museum and appears to be very nice. A bus trip to Philadelphia does sound fun. I will not know the extra cost for about a month when I get my registration packet. so I have about a month to decide if I want to see either one or head home a day earlier.
