We have two grocery stores in Gainesville that have all three types of lentils in bulk bins.you can buy any amount you want or mix and match as they are the same price. They have green lentils at my grocery. I buy them and have made lentil soup with them too.
I have never seen a Turkish market here but in town they do have an Indian Market which I have been in once that does carry them also and lots of beans.well for dried stuff like lentils, beans et al just visit a turkish supermarket here - the last time i countet they had 23 different types of white beans (not packagesizes) - unfortunately my turkish is way too poor (read as nonexistand) to find out what the difference is - the required eu-label sticker just say 'weiße bohnen, getrocknet' and something similar in english maybe it's 'dried white beans'
i really love turkish supermarkets
we have more then 100,000 turks in berlin so there are plenty of süpermarketler around. the ...ler indicates plural, because the see selling meat as a different shop than selling vegetablesNever been to Turkish market. I don't think any around here.
