I have a particular interest in the Huguenot Springs hospital, which had been a spa hotel prior to the war (since burned down). It was located only a few miles west of Richmond and accepted patients from Richmond hospitals, in particular Chimborazo. Manchester is just south of the James River from Richmond and was later incorporated into that city. It appears Moseley had a connection at the hospital:

Dr. Powhatan Spencer Dance, attended Hampden-Sidney, graduated with M.D. from the University of Virginia in 1854. Practiced medicine in Powhatan County, served as surgeon of the 4th Virginia Cavalry, then stationed at the General Hospital, Huguenot Springs.

For those interested in genealogy, this line of the Moseley family can be traced back to about 1640 in Virginia, and five more generations in England.
