The Civil War Round Table of Eastern Pennsylvania announced the donation of the late Karl M. Lehr's estate on Tuesday.
Lehr had entrusted his estate to the group. He died in 2009 at the age of 93.
The donation includes $53,000 to the Central Virginia Battlefields Trust to help preserve 93 acres of the Wilderness battlefield in Spotsylvania.
The Richmond Battlefields Association also will receive $53,000 to help buy 13 acres at Fussell's Mill and 4 acres at the Malvern Hill battlefield.
Another $22,000 will go to the Civil War Preservation Trust to help preserve 10 acres at Manassas
