Sounds very interesting!
I've just learned that Grant had migraines (thought so after reading "Last Full Measure", but now I had it confirmed by a nonfiction-book). Poor guy!
Definitely another book on my wishlist, thank you!

Just found that there's a similar book for the Union Generals also, by the same author. Both are also available for Kindle. Great! Have ordered both. Thank you once again!

Now I have read both books. Unfortunately nothing about Grant's migraines but lots of interesting details about every (every!) general on the Union and Confederate Side. But no "stories" or admiration for the poor wounded heroes - just the plain facts as far as they were available in the records. No juicy reading, but a good source for background information.
