Where did you locate that one?
My grandmother in Arkansas had a room in her house that her mother had once lived in, as well as one of my gm's older sisters. No one lived in it when I went in there one summer day and found a steamer trunk, inside which were some photos and clippings. The clippings were Pointer's obits, along with random stuff. One of the photos, the 1860 one, was in a case. Behind the velvet of the case was a clipping from 1863-64 detailing some of Lt. Pointer's exploits. A date had been penciled in on the paper behind the photo--Feb 9, 1860. That stuff in the trunk also included a sketch of Gen. Wheeler that I later found out had been clipped from the Nov 14, 1863 issue of Frank Leslie's, the same day Wheeler took 150+ prisoners from the 11th Ky Cav (US) near Maryville. So my interest was piqued and I became a teenage genealogist and Civil War historian.
