Found this Remington here in California, lovely patina and very tight lock-up. Serial number is 11450. Last three appear on the cylinder. Small inspector marks on all major components. Possible cartouche outline, but I'm extremely cautious about how to reveal that mark without marring the condition of the grip panel.
As most of my ACW and Western settlement-era weapons, I also got a great story with it. Previous owner (50 years with him) said his family in Arkansas was renovating an old farmhouse and discovered this pistol inside a pantry wall, late '60's.
