I started doing research on one of my relatives today and there's a Civil War draft record for him, but I'll having trouble locating his military record. I really want to find out which regiment he served in. Any help is appreciated!!

What was his name and what state would he likely have been drafted from?

I found the draft registration record you reference in your post. That information means he was eligible to be drafted, not necessarily that he was drafted. Kind of like signing up for selective service...you submit your info but you may not get drafted to go to war.

With that said, I found no military records for a George Baldrick from Pennsylvania on Ancestry, Fold3, Soldiers and Sailors Database or even in a Google Search. So I would conclude he registered but was never drafted nor enlisted for any regiment during the war.

The one caveat I would concede, however, is a misspelling of his name could lead to false search results. But I didn't find anything like that either.

Yes, I have identified an ancestor who was drafted but did not serve. The North Salem Historical Society (NY) has preserved the original 1863 conscription notice, and also an affadavit asserting the man was exempt because he was the sole support for his widowed mother.
