1. What did Lincoln think of Thomas Jefferson?
2. Do we have any information about what Lincoln and Jefferson’s grandson, George Wythe Randolph, spoke about during their April 1861 meeting? Do we know whether they brought up Jefferson’s likely stance on the impending separation?
3. What are the strongest arguments that Jefferson would have opposed or supported secession?

Don't know anything about questions 1 and 2, but as to 3, I believe that Jefferson would have supported succession because he was a strong supporter of states rights and a slave owner.
