I heard a story that all the horse's behinds on Monument Avenue are "facing" North. True or False?

A very timely article regarding the statues on Monument Avenue.

I actually live a few hundred feet from the Arthur Ashe statue. It is a treat to have such an interesting running route.

Did you live there when they put the statue up? That riled some people up. I didn't have a problem with it.

Monument ave is still one of the most beautiful places throughout the year on a nice sunny evening like that, or when the leaves start to turn etc.

Thankfully the rate of defacing with grafitti on Lee's statue has declined recently.
