The division he commanded at 2nd Bull Run was a "temporary"division made up of half of Longstreet's Old command. This unit was the merged into Jones Division just before Antietam and later became part of Pickett's Division. Now which Jones is being referred to?
David Rumph "Neighbor" Jones. One of the more talented division commanders in the AoNV.
