So a few years ago I was working on restoring an old plantation house by the name of "Fairview" with my father and his friends.

In the house I found this as well as a $100 Confederate bill. (It was inside of this)

How much is something like this normally worth?

I don't think I've ever seen one of these.

Also what would be the best way to preserve it?

A few of the starting pages are loose.

Its very hard to give a price from photos. It does look like it has some damage and doesn't have the front cover. As far as preserving it goes just keep in in the plastic sleeves.

There should be a record of how many 'Programme' booklets were printed, which would be part of the determination for its rarity. Finding how many copies extant still are stashed away in the hands of collectors also has a determination. I know in 2002 I came across a two volume set of Davis' original work on the rise and fall, published in 1889 (I think?) and it was in ratty condition but carried a hefty price of $350.00. Many times these books with 'Discard' inked on numerous pages from the public library system were picked up for next to nothing by wholesalers and resold at exorbitant profit. I would think a copy would be in The Confederate Veteran Magazine on an applicable date, with an article to bear it out.
Lubliner.
