1863-Reports from Murfreesboroo-spies report rebels at Tullahoma in terrible shape-our loss at 8,000 kia,Wounded and MIA.-We now have a General that knows how to corner Bragg-the battle proper lasted four days.
General Sullivan sent out a force of 6,000 men to attack Forrest who for weeks has been ravaging West Tenn. AND Destroying Grants lines of communication-Sullivan defeated the great marauder completely with a loss to Forrest of 1,400, and 400 prisoners and 6 guns,1000 stand of arms,and 350 horses captured.
1864-published report of General McClellan's tenure with the Army of Potomac.
1865-General Stedman's command captured and burned Hood's pontoon train and captured 600 mules.
