Since I put together the list for the 69th New York, I thought that I'd do the other New York regiments in the brigade.

63rd New York

Colonel John Burke
Lieutenant Colonel Henry Fowler (WIA)
Major Richard C. Bentley
Adjutant James D. Brady
Quartermaster James J. McCormick

Company A: Captain Joseph O'Neil, 1st Lt. Joseph McDonough, 2nd Lt. William D. Horring
Company B: Captain John Warren, 1st Lt. James E. Mackay (WIA, died 10/13/62), 2nd Lt. Charles McArthur
Company C: Captain John C. Lynch
Company D: Captain Thomas W. Cartwright, 1st Lt. John Flynn
Company E: 2nd Lt. Richard P. Moore
Company F: Captain Michael O'Sullivan (WIA), 2nd Lt. Patrick W. Lydon (KIA)
Company G: Captain Patrick J. Condon, 2nd Lt. George Lynch (WIA, died 9/18/62)
Company H: Captain Michael Walsh, 1st Lt. John H. Gleason, 2nd Lt. Cadwalader Smith (KIA)
Company I: Captain John Kavanaugh (KIA), 1st Lt. Patrick Gormley, Jr., 2nd Lt. Thomas Touhy
Company K: Captain John Sullivan, 2nd Lt. Henry McConnell (KIA)

The 63rd New York's officer roster was very difficult to compile. Most of the officers resigned and were recommissioned in March 1862, sometimes in different companies and so it was difficult keeping track of where each officer was commanding. I'm perfectly ok with being corrected here.

"Captain Clooney's Charge" by Brad Schmehl. Captain Clooney, in spite of a wound in his leg, propped himself up with the colors and shook his fist at the enemy in the Sunken Road before being shot and killed.
