This may have been posted once before as it is dated August of '15, but just in case it wasn't:

The judge is an ignoramus who has no conception of what the Civil War was about or why it came about.

The fact that Stewart has the historical facts whereas Napolidiot has BS makes no difference?

Alright men, say what you want, I still like him and tend to agree with him "on some points," which I find quite valid...

I don't know, lol. I tried watching it and couldn't make it past the 2 minute mark.

When channel surfing and I stumble upon one of those "so-called" comedians, I can't get it off my TV fast enough.

Produce a better example if you are interested in me watching one.

Interesting a guy who flat out lies is preferable to someone telling the truth in a humorous way.

    Interesting opinion.

Too bad I don't agree with it.

    It's not an opinion, it's a fact.

One example: Napolitano claims secession was over tariffs.

Mississippi: "Our position is thoroughly identified with the institution of slavery."

    You're cherry picking.

Anyway, it's after midnight and I'm turning in.

    Nite y'all.

That the slave states seceded to preserve slavery isn't even an interesting question. They practically grabbed people by the lapels and screamed. "We're seceding to save slavery!!!!"

Its like writing "The History of Big Holes in the Ground in Arizona" and somehow not mentioning the Grand Canyon.

Bravo Judge Napolitano, a Northerner with the backbone to go public and expose the idol's feet of clay.

The first 45 seconds exposed the Judge's idiocy. The rest is garbage of the same ilk.

So now you are getting your “historical facts” from a professional satirist and comedian? Those of us truly interested in historical facts are neither surprised nor amused.

Wow, that discussion is chock full on nonsense. The judge sounds like a fan of anarcho-capitalism, in the manner of Thomas DiLorenzo. They try to skew the history to fit their extreme anti-government philosophy.

Not surprising that other people with an interest in skewing history might be attracted to it.

The purpose of this thread is to troll the group. It certainly functions that way.

    Let it die.

Troll call is against the rules. I feel the same way you do when President Jefferson Davis gets the bashing.
