This week we are remembering the 157th Anniversary of the Battle of Chickamauga in September of 1863. On September 16 and 17, 1863, an Irish Union Colonel was trying to warn his commander at Chickamauga that a third of Robert E. Lee's army had just arrived in Georgia. I will post additional articles in this thread throughout the week.

No doubt you'll feature who I think the most singular immigrant group at Chickamauga, along with their commander!
