In "The Lost Papers...." book about Gen. Hood, there is a section about their children and what happened to them after Anna and the General's death. I read it in 2017 but didn't think to look into where each was buried. I visited Linwood Cemetery in June 2018 and I am sad now that I didn't know she was buried there. Would have gotten some flowers for her grave.

One of her direct descendants lives in Texas. Sam Hood was the May 2016 Speaker at the Houston Civil War Round Table. Her descendant was there that night. Eric Jacobson was also there receiving the HCWRT Vandiver Award.

Her descendant attended the Hood's Texas Brigade Association Re-activated's 2017 symposium also. That was a real treat for us.

Thanks for the OP post. Really good stuff.
