There were at least 3 units called the 15th Arkansas Infantry Regiments, I believe this is the one that Gen. Ben McCulloch intended to combine with the 1st and 2nd Arkansas Mounted Rifles to form a 3rd Arkansas Regiment.

Would have made things much more easier not having three regiments named the 15th Arkansas
 
Why 'possibly killed?' I enjoy all of these postings and hope/ pray that they made it through the war, but I don't remember one that said "possibly killed."
