I did a tour of Shiloh Battlefield with this organization and enjoyed it immensely - http://www.civilwartours.org/.
It looks like they are doing a tour of VBurg in June.

Someday I will do this, but vacation time is tight this year (just planned a family trip to the Shenandoah that is going to take a week) so I have to take advantage of the 4 day weekend offered by Independence Day so all I have to do is spend one vacation day and I get 5 days off.

I have often looked at those tours and I have it on my wish list. I am glad to have a positive review to rely on.

    Thanks!

Thanks in advance for your time and help.

Take it from me...take the advice/suggestions of @alan polk and @7th Mississippi Infantry . During my recent visit to Vicksburg, they were very helpful. I was there a half day on a Thursday, full days on Friday and Saturday, then a coupla hours Sunday morning. Did a whole lot while there and those 2 CWT members helped make it a very memorable trip.

Edit to add: And then there's @James N. He's probably already forgotten more than I'll ever know about any of the sites to see. :D
