Tennessee volunteers will team up with the Civil War Trust to help clean and restore 14 landmarks as part of Park Day, a nationwide effort that includes more than 125 historic sites in 29 states. Park Day takes place on Saturday, April 2.
Fog covers the Cedar Mountain Battlefield in Culpeper County Wednesday morning. Volunteers are being sought to help clean up the Civil War site April 2 as part of the nationally-recognized Park Day.
The Civil War Trust is recruiting volunteers to help spruce up historic sites nationwide as part of its 20th annual Park Day on April 2. About two dozen Civil War sites in Virginia are participating including the battlefields at Brandy Station and Cedar Mountain in Culpeper County.
