The Fauquier campus library of Lord Fairfax Community College [6480 College St, Warrenton, VA 20187]
will welcome David Goetz on Saturday, September 29th at 2 PM to talk about his book "Hell is Being a Republican in Virginia: The Post-War Reltionship Between John Singleton Mosby and Ulysses S. Grant", which explores the search for peace and reconciliation between two former enemies during Reconstruction.

Mr. Goetz spent much of his adult life in public relations, sales and marketing, mostly for non-profit organizations. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Bellarmine University, Louisville,
Kentucky and a Master of Science in Community Development from the University of Louisville. He is a U.S. Army veteran and received an Honorable Discharge. Now retired, he lives in Culpeper County, Virginia.

This event is Free & Open to the Public! Light refreshments will be served & there will be a silent auction to benefit the LFCC Fauquier Friends featuring many wonderful items.

Mr. Goetz will have copies of both of his books for sale before and after the event.
