When you find an interesting lineage of family who served, you just can't help telling about them.
I was reading a book "Battle for Mortain" when it mentioned General William K. Harrison, Jr. serving in the 30th "Old Hickory" Division. I'm reading that book because I knew very little of this battle where a portion of an infantry battalion, as few as 150 men, held off two German SS Panzer Divisions.
Descendants of Colonel Thomas Harrison.
