In this episode, we are in Pittsburgh talking with Mike Wosher - an expert, author, and researcher on rubber during the 19th century.

Join us as we learn all about hard rubber during the time period and the wide range of items that were made with this new innovation during the industrial revolution. You will be surprised to learn about the variety of household items that were being made for everyday use. Plus, you get to see many of these items from his collection!

Enjoyed both video's describing development of usable soft/hard rubber & often confused gutta percha difference.
Here, a Berdan button represents small object history quietly saved in household safety deposit boxes, (Aka gran's button basket).

Does anyone here know details on manufacturing location & suppliers of Berdan's rubber buttons?
Have seen a second company back mark, which begs an answer. Good thing is, there should only be two, but history does hold surprises.
