Member Review Happy New Year! What's on your 2021 reading list?

Many books in the unread stacks. My first ever trip to Sharpsburg, scheduled last year in June, got cancelled due to Covid-19. It has been rescheduled to June this year(2021). If it happens, "Landscape Turned Red" is definitely on the 2021 reading list.

Here in the UK we are back in lockdown for the next month or so. Plenty of opportunity to do some serious reading. So, I am reading Stephen Davis’ 2 volume study of John Bell Hoods generalship of the Army of Tennessee in 1864. I love Stephen Davis’ style of writing, he doesn’t sit on the fence and the amount of research he has put into these books is incredible and is proven by the size of the Works Cited section at the back of each volume. What’s more, it’s very readable. Highly recommend.

Just finished "Cushing of Gettysburg", should be here in a couple of "What Death More Glorious" the bbiography of Strong Vincent.
