Wesley,, James Country Mercantile has a good pattern in their inventory, A greatcoat is a really detailed garmet to produce even by a professional tailor so if your thinking about making your own to save money and aren't really skilled you might be waisting a good bit of time and a great expence on the correct materials, Nothing looks worse than a badly made greatcoat!! thats from experience my friend... dont be in a hurry if you order anything from from james country mercantile.it has been 14 weeks since i ordered a civilian frock coat and i still dont have it.
