The National Park Service announced yesterday that Grant Cottage, where US Grant wrote his memoirs shortly before his death, has become a National Historic Landmark. The cottage, which has been preserved in the state it was at the time of Grant's residence there, had previously been a New York State Historic Site. The cottage is open for tours during the summer months and is scheduled to reopen in May, pandemic permitting.

Glad to see that . I visited there several years ago . If anyone is in the area I would highly recommend it.
