Good suspect for the prison my ancestor could’ve been kept

While doing my research to uncover what prison Charles made his daring escape from, I believe I have a strong suspect. Salisbury Prison. You see it was being used as a prisoner of war camp in the time period he was a POW, also family story’s mention it was a prison camp not a building they were kept in. Also this map I made is of how long it would of roughly taken Charles to get to Chattanooga, where he got to union lines I believe. In the map it would take him five days, and it’s similar to a line like he was going in one direction and not turning back. Also in the up close their are quite a bit of rivers and creeks in the route h would of taken to escape. The camp also kept the prisoners in better health then others which would also explain why Charles had the energy to escape.
