In the movie Gettysburg. When Brig Gen Armistad (Richard Jordan) gives the order “Gentlemen form your battalions” and the Confederate troops of Pickett’s Division leave the cover of the trees and form up.

What is the “song” or “command” called that was being played on the drums.

It stopped as Pickett and Armistead both gave there “.... and let know man forget today that you are from Old Virginia.” and “..... sweethearts, wives, for Virginia. Foward. March !”

Then it started again.

Thank you
Respectfully,
Kyle Kalasnik

Hey, Kyle--do you have a clip of that scene or can you provide an audio clip like MP3? I'll try to find out for you.
