My GGG Uncle William Reay was a Pvt. In Co.A 14th Vermont Infantry. He was wounded on July.3, 1863 at Gettysburg, shot in right leg. I would like to find out where he was taking after he was wounded. Anyone have information on where he was treated for this wound? Thanks.

According to Greg Coco, Stannard's Vermont Brigade hospital was located in a barn about a mile and a half south of Meade's HQ at the Leister House. That could indicate the Leonard Bricker farm (which was definitely used as a hospital by the Fifth Corps and possibly the Third Corps) or the Sarah Patterson farm, which is on the east side of the Taneytown Road, due west of the George Weikert farm (slightly south of directly west).
