Gettysburg Foundation Announces Great Conversations at Gettysburg, June 29-30 2018
Lectures and Panels about Citizenship and Leadership; Free and Open to Public

GETTYSBURG, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Gettysburg Foundation today announced speaker line up for Great Conversations at Gettysburg. This free public education series will be filled with panels, lectures and thoughtful discussions about war and the legacy of war, as well as preservation of the battlefield.
Great Conversations at Gettysburg is sponsored by the Gettysburg Foundation, with support from the National Park Service. Saturday’s lectures cover topics such as why there was a battle at Gettysburg, sex in the Civil War, a comparison of the Civil War and WWII, the Underground Railroad, Civil Rights and the legacy of the Civil War. All programs will be taking place at the Gettysburg Foundation Museum and Visitor Center, 1195 Baltimore Pike, Gettysburg, PA.
