After years of looking at (to me) inferior images of Confederate General Lafayette McLaws, I decided to search for something better. Surprisingly, I was successful on my first attempt. I am pleased to share these with the Civil War community. The seated portrait is from the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. The first standing image is from e-bay (!). The second standing photo (with the fancy frame) is found in the collections of the Confederate Memorial Literary Society at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture. Enjoy.
