Restricted Freemasonry During the Civil War

I found these particular acts during the war on a web site.

Although politically Freemasonry was long out of vogue by 1861, I think it's interesting and admirable to read about these stories. It's odd to think how important some ideals were - over-riding the sectional conflict itself.
